Parliament agenda: S&D Group’s priorities for the week of 2 November 2015

It is Green Week in the Parliament, but this does not prevent MEPs to sticking to their usual agenda. On the table for the S&D Group, further discussions on the 2016 EU Budget that was voted on during last Plenary session in Strasbourg and, of course, the preparation for the forthcoming Valletta Summit on migration that is going to take place on 11-12 November 2015. Tim Allan, S&D Press Officer, also told us that S&D Group will launch a brand new education initiative for children affected by conflict and that his group is ‘very pleased’ by this year’s winner for the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought, the Saudi Arabian blogger, Raif Badawi.
