MEPs continue to push for end of roaming charges, ensures Greens Group

Richard More O’Ferrall – spokesperson for the Greens Group – joins Jennifer Baker to discuss the European Parliament’s take on the upcoming Council on the proposed Telecoms Package.

In April last year, Parliament voted to end all roaming charges for messages, phone calls and data flow, as well as in favour of ensuring net neutrality. “Two principles that we entirely defend” underlines the Greens’ spokesperson. More O’Ferrall strongly disapproves the rapporteur’s attempts to ‘accommodate the demands of EU governments on roaming and net neutrality‘.
