Climate & Energy 2030 Green Paper presented by European Commission

Cornelia Primosch is joined by Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, Spokeswoman of the European Commission, to discuss the Climate and Energy 2030 Green Paper by the European Commission (EC).

The aim of the EC is to look ahead and give certainty to investors while keeping up with the ambitious long-term targets that the European Union has agreed for itself to be able to keep the greenhouse  gases in check. The public debate on the 2030 Energy and Climate framework the kicks off on Wednesday, 27th March, with the EC’s Green Paper.

The EC wants to focus on the best way to use this policy bearing in mind a competitive, sustainable and secure economy and energy systems.
