Charlie Hebdo attack: EU “needs law against foreign fighters” underlines S&D Group

Jennifer Baker is joined by Utta Tuttlies, spokesperson for the S&D Group, to talk about how Europe should respond to the brutal terrorist attack on French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.

Tuttlies states that the S&D Group condemns “this barbaric act as an assault on the freedom of expression. Terrorism and fundamentalism need to be fought“, but we are not in a war against Islam or any other religion, adds the spokesperson. Moreover, Tuttlies believes it is crucial that Europe speaks with one voice in order to restore peace in the Middle East and Africa.
