“Banking union is a long-term project, but progress is being made”, says European Commission
Lénaïc Vaudin d’Imécourt is joined by Olivier Bailly, spokesperson of the European Commission, to discuss the upcoming European Council summit.
EU heads of state and government will gather in Brussels on Thursday and Friday (27-28 June) to discuss youth unemployment and the completion of the banking union. Last week, the European Commission announced their contributions to push for growth for the EU economy, including a six billion euro contribution to the ‘Youth Guarantee’. Now, “we need member states to act at the summit”, says Bailly.
