– The good: Parliament voted in favour of new EU data protection legislation and NSA surveillance resolution
– The sad: Herman van Rompuy’s initiative to host the June EU Summit in Ypres to commemorate the start of the First World War
– The ugly: British MEP and UKIP leader Nigel Farage has been accused of employing both his wife and alleged mistress out of his Parliament allowances
