Commission Agenda: Priorities for the week of 13 Jan. 2014

Jennifer Baker is joined by Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, spokeswoman of the European Commission, to discuss the Commission’s agenda for this week in this latest issue of ‘previEUws’.

Topics discussed include:

– On Monday 13 January, the Commission publishes the Handbook on Habitual Residence Test, which will help Member States apply EU rules on the coordination of social security for EU citizens that have moved to another country
– The Commission is due to present a proposal to modernise EURES, the pan-European job search network, on Friday 17 January
– On Wednesday 15 January the Risk Finance Guidelines will be adopted, they replace the Risk Capital Guidelines
– Communication on Preventing Radicalisation and Violence Promoting Extremism to be presented by the Commission on Wednesday 15 January
