Censure vote on Juncker Commission: “Europhobes attempt to weaken the EU” claims EPP Group

Jennifer Baker is joined by Antti Timonen, spokesperson for the EPP Group, to discuss the motion of censure on the European Commission, due to be voted on by MEPs on Thursday 27 November.

Nigel Farage‘s Europe of Freedom and Democracy (EFDD) Group and Marine Le Pen‘s French National Front have collected 76 signatures for a joint no confidence motion against Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker over his role in the LuxLeaks tax avoidance scandal. The EPP Group strongly opposes the motion and believes that the EU should stand for a more constructive approach. What Europe needs now is to put forward a reform agenda, underlines Timonen.
